I am a first year PhD student at the graduate program in molecular biosciences at Rutgers. I am deeply fascinated by natural history and major transitions in the tree of life. During my Master’s in India, I developed a strong interest in developmental biology and now I am excited to explore several organismal questions, such as the fin to limb transition by analyzing drifts in developmental modules at Dr Nakamura’s Lab. I like to read (and talk about what I read),
sketch, dance and sing for leisure (and to stay sane!).
